What Jeopardy Champions Have to Say
Jeopardy Personality Brad RutterBRAD RUTTER – Winner of Jeopardy’s Ultimate Tournament of Champions, Brad has amassed winnings of over $3,000,000. With the exception of the current Jeopardy champion every day, he is truly the only undefeated champion in the history of the show. Brad graciously hosted Cubberley’s Jeopardy Tournaments in 2006 and 2007, and could be available to host for your school’s tournament.

“It’s fun. It’s educational… It’s really like nothing I’ve ever seen.”

Ken Jennings, Jeopardy ChampionKEN JENNINGS – Winner of an amazing 74-straight Jeopardy! games, Ken hogged America’s TV screens from June thru November of 2004, making his mug almost as synonymous with the Jeopardy! show as Alex Trebek’s. He has since authored the books, Brainiac and Ken Jennings’s Trivia Almanac.

“Knowledge isn’t ‘trivia,’ and it certainly isn’t trivial. Generations of teachers have played Jeopardy! in their classrooms, because they know that games like these can be the bait on the fish-hook of education-the thing that makes curiosity and learning seem fun, or even cool. I would have killed for something like this tournament when I was a high schooler.”

Bob Harris, Jeopardy ChampionBOB HARRIS – A 5-time Jeopardy Champion (when 5 was the limit), Bob used his stand-up comedy background to have a lot of fun and make himself one of the most memorable players on the show. Bob is the author of Prisoner of Trebekistan: A Decade in Jeopardy!, and could be available to host for your school’s tournament.

“Having something like a fun tournament to study for is a fantastic incentive.”

Nancy Zerg, Jeopardy ChampionNANCY ZERG – Nancy is only a “one time Champion” on Jeopardy, but oh how that one time shocked the Jeopardy viewers across the land. She’s now the trivia answer to “Which Jeopardy Champion ended Ken Jennings’ 74-game winning streak?” Nancy did not hesitate when asked to host Cubberley’s Jeopardy Tournament in 2005. She was great and loved by all, and could be available to host for your school’s tournament.

“It’s quite amazing.”
